On March 1st, new photos of 6th generation member Mirine Masuda , who will be a new member of the idol group Nogizaka46 , wearing her school uniform, along with her own handwritten profile, were released.
Masuda was born on November 1, 2009 and is 15 years old. She is from Osaka Prefecture. In her profile, she wrote, "I will continue to learn, work hard, and grow so that I can become a great member of Nogizaka46."
On the same day, a photo and handwritten profile of 6th generation member Reina Ozu were also released.
The 6th generation members were selected through auditions held twice last year, in spring and summer, with 5 members in the Spring group, Moeka Yada, Mitsuki Setoguchi, Hina Kawabata, Akari Kaibe, and Rio Nagashima, and 6 members in the Summer group, Urumi Morihira, Kokone Atago, Hinano Okoshi, Yuna Suzuki, Ozu, and Masuda, for a total of 11 members. On April 6th, the debut event "Nogizaka46 First Debut 'Nice to meet you, 6th generation'" will be held at Pia Arena MM (Nishi-ku, Yokohama).
