Episode 1155 of " Detective Conan " (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Saturday 6pm), an anime TV series based on Gosho Aoyama 's popular manga, "Chase! Detective Taxi 2", will be broadcast on March 1st.
Genki Ishikawa, a taxi driver who calls himself a "Mori Kogoro the Great Detective geek," comes to the detective agency. The jewel-washing festival is held once every ten years at Tsubaki Shrine. The washed jewels are said to be more valuable, so participants are the wealthy and owners of jewellery stores. At the festival, Ishikawa spots a duo of suspicious people taking candid photos of the participants' cars. Kogoro has a prior engagement and declines the request, so Ishikawa decides to investigate on his own.
" Detective Conan" is a popular manga serialized by Aoyama in the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan). It depicts elementary school detective Conan Edogawa solving difficult cases that occur one after another.
