Yuki Yoda of the idol group Nogizaka46 , for whom she is a regular model, will grace the cover of the April issue of beauty magazine MAQUIA (Shueisha, on sale February 20th).
Yoda will graduate from the group after the concerts to be held in her hometown of Fukuoka on February 22nd and 23rd. The issue has a "travel" theme and was shot in a house studio near the sea, about a two-hour drive from Tokyo, capturing Yoda's mature yet adorable expressions. There is also a long interview in which she talks about her thoughts on her activities as a member of Nogizaka46, her gratitude to her fans and family, and her future plans.
Looking back on the shoot, Yoda said, "When they put a flower crown on me halfway through, I thought it looked like a wedding photo," and added, "I think of graduating from the group as a turning point in my life.My life is much longer than what lies ahead, and I don't know what path it will take.(Omitted)I'm looking forward to my future."
The same issue will also be released in a special edition with the Transino Three Powerful Whitening Care Set as an extra, as well as a special edition with Sanrio's popular character Kuromi on the cover.
