It has been announced that singer-songwriter Masami Okui will release her first single CD in about eight years, "Baby Baby Baby," on April 23rd through the music label "Lantis." The title song, "Baby Baby Baby," is her first collaboration with singer-songwriter Bonjour Suzuki, and will be used as the opening theme for the TV anime "Please Wear It, Takamine-san," which will begin airing in April. The coupling song will be a newly written song by musician R.O.N.
It will be released in two formats: a first-press limited edition 8cm CD with original visuals of "Please Wear It, Takamine-san" and photos taken by Okui, and a regular edition 12cm CD. The first-press limited edition is priced at 2,200 yen, and the regular edition is priced at 1,650 yen.
"Please Wear It, Takamine-san" is based on a manga by Yuichi Hiiragi, which is currently being serialized in "Gangan Joker" (Square Enix). The story is about an ordinary high school student, Shirata, whose school life begins to change after he sees Takamine, the student council president and top of the school caste system, in a certain situation. Takamine has the ability to travel through time by taking off her pants, known as the "Eternal Virgin Road," which has become a hot topic.
