The fifth episode of the Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (TBS, Sunday 9pm) starring actor Tori Matsuzaka was broadcast on February 16th. The scene where Mikami (Matsuzaka) puts his arm around Takuto Kanzaki ( Daiken Okudaira Daiken), a student in class 3-2, became a hot topic on social media.

Kanzaki and Mikami finally meet with Yuzuru (Mayu Hotta). Kanzaki brings up the newspaper article that caused Yuzuru's mother Saejima (Takako Tokiwa) to quit school. Yuzuru replies, "It has nothing to do with me."
He also talked about meeting Shibuya Kanako, the mother of one of the victims of Yuzuru's murders. He read out a letter from Kanako, which said, "When I learned about the circumstances you had lived in through the newspapers and TV, I felt like I understood why you did what you did. Because the place you were in was very similar to the place where Yusuke (her son, the victim) and I had run away from," and told Yuzuru, "This person is thinking, and continues to think. That's why there's no way we can stop."
"Stop acting like you're so great, you brat!" Yuzuru spat out. Kanzaki replied, "Don't be so great. I'm saying that you and I are equally guilty!"
Meanwhile, Migami talks about a certain movie. Then, Kanzaki reveals, "You're telling me that there are no truly bad people here. But... we can't move forward unless we think it's our responsibility. Me and Yumizuru, too." After that, Kanzaki comes out of the room where he met with Yumizuru and collapses in the hallway. Migami picks Kanzaki up by the shoulders, and the two of them walk down the hallway.
Comments on social media included, "I was moved when Mikami Sensei supported Kanzaki-kun after he collapsed after the visit," "There are no truly bad people here, but what he has done is irreparable, and Kanzaki is in so much pain that he can't get up. I cried at Mikami's kindness as he holds Kanzaki by his shoulders and walks," "I think this embodies the need for someone to support you in order to keep walking...Kanzaki-kun and Mikami Sensei. It was a really great scene," "I loved the scene where Mikami Sensei supported Kanzaki without saying a word. I can't wait for it every week," and "The relationship between Kanzaki and Mikami Sensei is so hot. I wonder if Kanzaki will save Mikami Sensei this time!?"
