The 22nd installment of the popular anime "PreCure" series, "You and Idol PreCure♪" will be broadcast on ABC TV and TV Asahi every Sunday at 8:30 am starting February 2nd. The motif of the show is "idols" and the theme is "Because of you, I can shine and become stronger!" It depicts the exploits of the legendary saviors, Idol PreCure. At a press conference held prior to the broadcast, producer Nishimura Maione of ABC Animation, the company producing the anime, explained, "The idols we want to convey this time are idols who can shine together with you."

Producer Nishimura also spoke about the thoughts he put into the work, saying, "It's because you're on stage with me, and you're in front of me cheering me on, that I'm able to shine. That shine isn't one-way. By giving back to you the shine that you give me, you and I will shine on each other. I want to make this the most shining work in the series, one that can make all of you and me shine." It seems that the presence of "you" is the key word.

◇The debut live performance was idol-like!

The "Ohirome Debut Live", the debut event for Cure Idols Cure Ink and Cure Kyun Kyun from "Kimi to Idol PreCure♪" as "Idol PreCure", was held on February 1st at Sakata Seed Garden Square in Yokohama Landmark Tower (Nishi-ku, Yokohama).

The Pretty Cures did call and response with the children at the venue, and danced together to show their support. The children cheered on the Pretty Cures with sparkling lights and smiled. Since it was called a "debut live," it was just like an idol concert.

Although it was not stated what "you" was, it seemed that the smiling children might also be "you". At the event, in addition to the opening and ending themes of the anime, the stage songs of each PreCure were unveiled for the first time.
