The back cover depicts Antoinette and Fersen reuniting in broad daylight in the elegant palace of Versailles, reaffirming their forbidden love and basking in a moment of joy.
The issue features "The Rose of Versailles " and includes interviews with Miyuki Sawashiro , who plays Oscar , Toshiyuki Toyonaga, who plays Andre, Aya Hirano, who plays Antoinette, and Kazuki Kato, who plays Fersen. In an interview with Director Yoshimura, he delves into the secret behind the appeal of the film.
"The Rose of Versailles" is a masterpiece manga by Ikeda that was serialized in "Weekly Margaret" (Shueisha) from 1972 to 1973. It is a beautiful depiction of the love and life of Oscar, a beautiful Oscar who dresses as a man, and Marie Antoinette, an innocent queen who came to France from neighboring Austria during the French Revolution in the late 18th century.
The movie will be directed by Yoshimura, known for "Ao Haru Ride" and "Cheer Boys!! ". Hiroyuki Sawano , known for " Attack on Titan ", will be the music producer, and Sawano and KOHTA YAMAMOTO will be in charge of the music.
