It has been revealed that freelance announcer Rie Mochizuki will be a regular on the TBS morning information program "THE TIME," (Monday to Friday, 5:20 a.m.) on Tuesdays in February. She will begin appearing on the show on February 4th.
"THE TIME," is a program that delivers news, entertainment, sports, weather, and other information at a good pace, with the concept of "Seeing the morning in Japan." The general host is the station's announcer, Shinichiro Azumi. Mochizuki appears every Tuesday, appearing in the entertainment corner, sports corner, and the "TIME Marketing Department" which delivers lifestyle information.
Mochizuki commented, "I am very happy to be appearing as a monthly regular in February. It has been a while since we have done a live broadcast at this time, but I love the early morning hours when the world is starting to move. I will do my best to make it a good start to viewers' day. It will also be my first time meeting Yasuzumi-san, so I am very much looking forward to getting a feel for what kind of atmosphere and temperature he has in the flesh. I hope you will all look forward to it."
"THE TIME," is set to have monthly regulars in the future, with Hinatazaka46's Matsuda Konoka appearing every Monday in February, Nogizaka46's Ichinose Misora on Wednesdays, and Sakurazaka46's Matsuda Rina on Thursdays.
