The third episode of the drama series " Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu! " (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm) starring Kyoko Yoshine , became a hot topic on social media.

The drama is based on Mizutani Midori's manga " Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu!", "I'm a flustered medical intern," and "I came to be a medical intern on a remote island" (KADOKAWA). The protagonist, medical intern Madoka Wakatsuki (Yoshine), is sarcastically told that "medical interns are customers" in a medical field that is changing due to work style reform, and although she is confused, she faces challenges with veteran doctors.
Madoka, who was assigned to the gastroenterology department, was present at the examination of an outpatient, Nakayama Hayato (Kokubo Hisato), who was complaining of abdominal pain. Madoka smiles at the sight of his wife Minami (Tabata Tomoko), who was accompanying him, and their young daughter. However, the results of the subsequent examination revealed that Hayato had a very fast-growing type of gastric cancer called scirrhous carcinoma.
Madoka visits Yuto frequently, trying to help him in any way she can. However, Yuto passes away.
Madoka is instructed by her doctor, Tezuka Saeko (Kimura Tae), to pronounce the patient dead, saying, "It's a path that every doctor must take. Go ahead and give it a try." After making the pronouncement, Madoka can't stay still and runs out of the hospital room, tears streaming down her face. Kanno, who happens to see Madoka, decides to listen to her story.
"If only I had done this at that time. If only I had done that. I wonder if I could have lived another hour, another day," Madoka said frankly. Kanno encouraged her by saying, "It's the same for me. You never get used to the death of a patient. Isn't that okay? There's no need to become strangely strong. You're human, after all."
