The second episode of the drama series " Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu! " (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm) starring actress Kyoko Yoshine Wakatsuki, played by Yoshine, started singing during an operation in the operating room, which became a hot topic on social media.
The drama is based on Mizutani Midori's manga " Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu!", "I'm a flustered medical intern," and "I came to be a medical intern on a remote island" (KADOKAWA). The protagonist, medical intern Madoka Wakatsuki, faces challenges while being confused in the medical field. The drama depicts the two years in which she encourages her fellow colleagues and faces life.
The day after Madoka went to a drinking party with her seniors, she was present at an operation. She was surprised to see the surgeon Nishiyama (Masaaki Akahori) and his colleagues, who said, "Even though you drank so much yesterday, you're back to being a doctor." Nishiyama requested her to "sing something (for the background music)."
Madoka thinks to herself, "If it was Professor Nishiyama's generation...", and begins singing "Tomorrow I will set out on a journey," as she sings "Azusa No. 2" by the brother duo Hunter.
Although Nishiyama said, "Is this a Showa era pop song? I'm not from that generation, but please keep going," Madoka sang passionately. Eventually, Nishiyama also started singing... and so the show unfolded.
