It has been announced that a double-sided A4 Sound! Euphonium ! Ayano Takeda: The Final Movement," a theatrical film that reconstructs " Sound! Euphonium! Euphonium 3," the third season of the TV anime "Sound! Euphonium," which is based on the novel by Ayano Takeda. The front of the board features the first key visual depicting the main character Kumiko Oumae and drum major Reina Kosaka. The back of the board depicts the past club presidents and vice presidents, who were shown from behind in the key visual, walking forward with smiles on their faces. The design evokes the history of the Kitauji High School brass band.
"Sound! Euphonium" is set in the brass band club of Kitauji High School and depicts the growth of the brass band members, including euphonium player Kumiko Oumae. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, the second season from October to December 2016, and the third season from April to July 2024.
"The Final Movement" is a compilation of edited footage from the third season of the TV anime, with many new scenes added. The second part will be released on September 11th.
