"This Week's New Releases" brings you information on new comics. About 250 major comics will be released between January 20th and 25th. The latest releases include the 12th volume of "Medalist," a figure skating manga that has also become a hot topic as an anime series that began airing in January; the 18th volume of "Kindaichi Case Files, 37 Years Old," an adult version of the popular mystery manga "Kindaichi Case Files," and the 6th volume of "Nikaido Hell Golf," a golf manga by Fukumoto Nobuyuki, who is known for the "Kaiji" series.
On January 20th, the 21st volume of "Mobuko no Koi," which has been announced to be made into a live-action movie, will be released.
On January 21st, the 15th volume of "Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! a live-action film and an anime, and the 15th volume of the battle manga "Ragna Crimson" will be released.
On January 22nd, in addition to the 12th volume of "Medalist," the 18th volume of "The Kindaichi Case Files of 37 Years Old" and the 6th volume of "Nikaido Hell Golf," the 7th volume of "Nights with Cats," which depicts the daily life of a cat and its owner, the 12th volume of "High School Fleet," a spin-off manga of the TV anime "High School Fleet," the 7th volume of the baseball manga "Gurazeni: Major League Edition," the 12th volume of "Nostalgia Taro" by Yamada Yoshihiro, who is known for "Hyouge Mono," and the 172nd volume of the long-running "Cooking Papa."
On January 23rd, releases will include volume 13 of "Sorry for My Little Brothers," which has been adapted into an anime and a live-action film, and volume 17 of "Rising Sun R," a new chapter of Fujiwara Satoshi's "Rising Sun." On January 24th, releases will include volume 6 of "Two People Smoking Smoke Behind the Supermarket," which was nominated for the Manga Taisho Awards 2023.
