Assassination Classroom:Jun Fukuyama and Director Seiji Kishi celebrate the 10th anniversary of the anime! New illustrations and creditless footage of past OP and ED episodes released

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the first episode of the anime " Assassination Classroom ," based on the popular manga by Yusei Matsui , aired on January 9, 2025, Jun Fukuyama, who plays Koro- Jun Fukuyama, director Kishi Seiji, series composer and scriptwriter Uezu Makoto, and character designer Morita Kazuaki sent congratulatory comments. An original illustration by Morita was also released. Creditless versions of past opening (OP) and ending (ED) videos, including "Seishun Satsubatsuron," were also released on YouTube.

Fukuyama's comment video was posted on YouTube. Director Kishi said, "Congratulations on the 10th anniversary of Assassination Classroom! It's a work that hasn't lost its luster even after 10 years. As part of the Assassination Classroom 10th Anniversary Project, there will be a lot of commemorative events, including rebroadcasts! Let's all enjoy the 10th anniversary together!"

Uezu said, "Assassination Classroom made a big impact from the very first episode. I was immediately hooked, and started buying Jump every week again. From that time on, I had hoped to turn it into an anime myself, but at the time I was young and thought it was an impossible dream given my career. Then a miracle happened! I was asked to compose the series, and I remember how happy I was like it was yesterday. The entire animation staff worked together and put all our effort into it! I can't believe that more than 10 years have passed since those passionate days. I hope you will continue to love it in the future!"

Morita commented, "It feels like 10 years have gone by in the blink of an eye. I've heard that there is a 10th anniversary project underway, and I hope that this will be an opportunity for people who are seeing Assassination Classroom for the first time to enjoy it. I'm looking forward to future projects! Thank you very much!"

The 10th anniversary project "Assassination Classroom 10th Anniversary Time" has also been announced, with the first part being a one-year re-broadcast of all 47 episodes of the TV anime starting in April on Fuji TV and other stations. The details of the second and third parts of the project will be announced in the future.

"Assassination Classroom" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from July 2012 to March 2016. The story revolves around Koro-sensei, a mysterious creature who evaporated 70% of the moon, who becomes the homeroom teacher of Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Middle School, a school filled with underachievers, and the students attempt to assassinate him.

The TV anime aired from January to June 2015 and January to June 2016. The spin-off, Korosensei Q (Quest)!, was also made into an anime. A live-action movie starring Hey! Say! JUMP's Yamada Ryosuke was also released.
