A mysterious image was published on the official website of the anime "Silent Witch: The Secret of the Silent Witch," which is based on a light novel by Iku Matsuri, who is popular on the novel posting site "Shosetsuka ni Naro a Novelist," with the caption "January 4th at midnight, the silent witch begins to move in a quiet night." The same image was also published on the anime's official Twitter account, and it was revealed that new information about the series will be released on TOKYO MX, BS11, Tochigi TV, and Gunma TV at "January 4th at midnight."

The work is a light novel written by Matsuri Iku and illustrated by Nanna Fujimi. Set in a world where humanity has lost the ability to use magic due to the chanting of incantations, it depicts the exploits of Monica Everett, the "Silent Witch," a young genius magician who created the first chantless magic in history. Although Monica is one of the Seven Sages, the pinnacle of magicians in the Kingdom of Ridil, she is extremely shy and nervous around people, and retreats to the mountains to quietly study magic, but is ordered to infiltrate a prestigious school where aristocrats gather and take on a top-secret mission to protect the second prince.

A light novel has been published by Kadokawa Books (KADOKAWA), and the comic adaptation has also become popular. The total number of copies of the series is about 600,000. Saya Aizawa plays Monica in the anime.
