ONE PIECE:HIKAKIN and SEIKIN sing the first TV anime opening theme "We Go!" with Luffy

It Eiichiro Oda been revealed that the opening theme (OP) for the January season of the "SPECIAL EDITED VERSION 'ONE PIECE' Fishman Island Arc," a re-edited version of the Fishman Island arc of the TV anime "ONE PIECE," based on Eiichiro Oda's popular manga, will be a collaboration song by popular video creators HIKAKIN, SEIKIN, and Luffy, called "We Go! ~HIKAKIN & SEIKIN with Monkey D. Luffy ver.~." HIKAKIN and SEIKIN, who sang "We Are!" on the "ONE PIECE MUUUSIC COVER ALBUM" released in 2020, will be singing the famous song "We Go!" with Luffy as a guest. This is the first time that HIKAKIN and SEIKIN will be singing the opening theme for a TV anime.

HIKAKIN and SEIKIN commented, "We are very honored to be singing 'We Are!' as HIKAKIN & SEIKIN with Luffy. We sang 'We Are!' once in May 2020 as HIKAKIN & SEIKIN, but this time around 'We Are!' is the first time we've sung an opening theme for a TV anime, and we're excited that it will be aired on terrestrial TV! The song has a sound that is typical of HIKAKIN & SEIKIN, and we've also released a special music video on YouTube's HikakinTV. In addition, SeikinTV has released a special collaboration music video using a different version of 'We Are!' than the one aired on TV. We've taken it to the next level since 'We Are!' and created it with respect for 'One Piece,' so be sure to check it out along with the TV anime opening!"

The TV anime "ONE PIECE" began airing in October 1999, and has been airing on Fuji TV every Sunday at 9:30 am since October 2006. From October 20, 2024 to March 30, 2025, there will be a "recharging period," during which the production team will be preparing to further improve the quality of the anime. During this period, the "SPECIAL EDITED VERSION "ONE PIECE" Fishman Island Arc" is currently airing. It has been announced that the broadcast time will change from April 6th, to air every Sunday at 11:15 pm.

"ONE PIECE" depicts the adventures of Luffy, a young man with a straw hat whose limbs can stretch like rubber, as he and his companions set out on an adventure across the open seas in an attempt to become the King of the Pirates. The series began serialization in 1997 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).
