Hikaru Takahashi:Admiring the "breaking the mold" style, he tried action for the first time last year and said, "I want to try harder and harder."

Model and actor Takahashi Hikaru was interviewed in a formal attire. Regarding last year, in which he appeared in popular works such as the movie "Honeko Akabane Bodyguard," Takahashi said, "There were some works that we had a lot of discussion about, and some that I was able to get into easily, and it was a fulfilling year because I approached it in various ways." We asked Takahashi about the work that left an impression on him in 2024, people of his generation that he is interested in, and his aspirations for 2025.

In 2024, Takahashi appeared in the movie "Honeko Akabane Bodyguard" and two drama series. She played the heroine in "Matsunaga-san in the Living Room" (Kantele/Fuji TV) in January, and the lead role in "Putting Mud on Your Face" (TV Asahi) in July. "There was a memorable incident in each work, and the way I dealt with each one was completely different," she said.

"During the tough filming period of 'Matsunaga-san in the Living Room,' we were able to get through it by working together with (star) Kento Nakajima and the rest of the filming team, and I was happy that the set had a warm atmosphere like the shared house that appears in the film. In 'Throwing Mud in My Face,' I played the role of a woman growing up, and wondering how she deals with her abusive boyfriend. I feel like I grew along with the character I played, Miku."

In "Honeko Akabane Bodyguard," he took on the challenge of action for the first time, something he had always wanted to do.

"In ' Honeko Akabane Bodyguard,' I did action scenes for the first time, and I also danced in the film, so it was a fresh experience for me because I hadn't really used my body that much in my acting before! I've played a lot of roles where I was being protected or kidnapped by someone, so it was a fresh experience to move to protect someone, and it's a memorable experience."

"I want to continue doing action roles in the future," he said enthusiastically. "I love detective stories, and I like cool women. I also love the popular movie 'Baby Warukyure,' so I want to try my best in action roles!"

She is also active in variety shows. She said she wants to continue working in a genre-less way, not just as a model or actor, and said, "Some comedians are mainly in variety shows or theater, but some also act. I want to break the mold, and I admire that style."

When asked if there are any rivals or people she is interested in, she smiled and said, "There are a lot of people I think are attractive and wonderful!" She mentioned Ryubi Miyase, with whom she co-starred in the drama "Murai no Koi" (TBS, 2022).

"Even though I had no acting experience at the time, we worked hard together and I'm still inspired by her. She has been active in a variety of productions, and I think it's amazing that she is also active in music."

Starting in January, she will be appearing in the drama "Madoka26sai,kenshui Yattemasu!" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm). When asked about her goals for this year, she said, "I've been fortunate enough to be able to appear in a drama, so it's a good start. In 2025, I want to do lots of different productions, meet lots of different people, and continue to work hard at variety shows, acting, and my private life, doing my best in all areas!"
