The hip-hop unit "Creepy Nuts" appeared at the rehearsal for the "75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen" (general and other channels) held at the NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo on December 29th. They spoke about the song they will be performing, "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born."
Creepy Nuts will be making their first appearance at the Red and White Song Battle. R-Shitei said, "We hope to put on a great show like always," and DJ Matsunaga agreed, saying, "Same here."
The song they will be performing, "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born," is the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime "Mashle." It was released digitally on January 7th this year, and after a dance challenge on TikTok became popular, it swept the charts in Japan and overseas.
R-Shimei said with a smile, "This song has spread in a way that we really didn't expect. It's one of the most important songs, just like the other songs I've written up until now. On top of that, this song has given us the opportunity to perform live overseas, so I think it's like a new business card."
The 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen will be broadcast on December 31st from 7:20pm to 11:45pm (with some news breaks). Hiroiki Ariyoshi, Kanna Hashimoto, Sari Ito, and announcer Naoko Suzuki will be the hosts.
