It has been revealed that the event "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -FINAL-" for the popular anime series "Gundam" will be held in Tokyo and Osaka in 2025. It will be the culmination of the event "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE -ROAD TO 2025-" commemorating the 45th anniversary of the series, and will be held from February 21st to 24th, 2025 at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) and from April 1st to 14th at Grand Front Osaka (Kita-ku, Osaka).
On the large screen at the entrance, in addition to Gundam Aerial and Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam, GQuuuuuuX from the latest work "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" will appear. A monument will be unveiled that uses salvaged Gunpla (plastic model) runners (frames) to represent the arms of the life-sized Gundam statue at the pavilion "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION" at the 2025 Japan World Expo (Osaka/Kansai Expo). A life-sized head of GQuuuuuuX from "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX", about 2.3 meters tall, will also be on display.
It was also announced that the "Gundam" series will collaborate with "fragment," a design project led by Hiroshi Fujiwara. Original design-related products supervised by Fujiwara will be released.
