It has been revealed that the "RX-78F00/E Gundam (EX-001 Glass Feather Equipped)" will appear in a completely new video to be shown at the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION," a pavilion for the popular anime series "Gundam" at the 2025 World Expo, Osaka, Kansai. The announcement was made at the "Gundam Conference WINTER 2024" presentation, which was streamed on YouTube on December 4th.
Kaori Shida of Bandai Namco Filmworks explained, "It's a life-sized mobile suit in the lineage of Gundam, equipped with equipment called Glass Feathers." She also said about the pavilion, "We're reinterpreting the space lifestyle and technology depicted in the Gundam series so far as a possibility for the future. You can experience it through completely new images and spaces. It's set in a new Universal Century. You'll travel from the Osaka Spaceport to the space station by orbital elevator. It depicts a world where living in space has become commonplace."
Hiroshi Sakakibara, Chief Gundam Officer of the Bandai Namco Group, enthusiastically stated, "We aim to connect people from all over the world through Gundam and create a space that will encourage us to think about the future together."
It was also announced that Gunpla (plastic model) and figures of "RX-78F00/E Gundam (EX-001 Glass Feather Equipped)" will be released by Bandai Spirits. The Osaka-Kansai Expo will be held in Yumeshima, Osaka from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
