It has been announced that the popular boy band "INI" will be performing the opening theme "Make It Count" for the TV anime "Douse Koi Shiteshimaunda.", which is based on the manga by Haruka Mitsui currently being serialized in the girls' manga magazine "Nakayoshi" (Kodansha). It was also announced that the TV anime will be broadcast on TBS every Thursday at 1:28 a.m. from January 9, 2025, and on BS11 every Sunday at 11:30 p.m. from January 12, 2025.
INI commented on the song, "The lyrics are filled with the idea of 'cherishing every moment,' and the song features a soundscape that is as vast and delicate as youth. The lyrics link with the thoughts of the main character, Nishino Mizuho, who embraces the "now" so as not to waste each day, making it a pop song that will warm your heart!" The second PV was released on YouTube, and a part of the song was unveiled. The band "Marushii" will be performing the ending theme "Negaigoto."
The series began serialization in Nakayoshi in December 2020. It depicts the heart-warming romance and youth of the protagonist Mizuho, who grew up in a seaside town, and her unique childhood friends, Teruzuki, Miku, Ai, and Shugo. The anime will be directed by Yamamoto Junichi and produced by Taifu Graphics.
