The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and others) has released a character relationship chart for the 20th week, "Look Up at the Stars at Night," which begins on August 11th, on the drama's official website and elsewhere. The annotation for Takashi (played by Takumi Kitamura) has been updated to "manga artist," leading viewers to comment, "Finally, manga artist Takashi Yanai," and "Takashi's title is now manga artist!"
The latest character relationships chart reveals that Tsukui Arisa will play Ai, the eldest daughter, and Maeda Hana will play Hana, the second daughter, Hana, of Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) and Meiko (Nanoka Hara), who got married in the previous week's 19th episode, "Flower of Courage." Yagi (Satoshi Tsumabuki)'s description has also changed from "black market liquor store owner" to "general store owner,"and Takuya Ise(Motoki Omori) has also changed from "student" to "composer." It has also been announced that director Mutsuhara Eisuke (Todo Hinata) and "original manga faction" members Oshima Ko (Nanase Kimi), Miura Mitsuo (Ikeda Tsutomu), and Kurita Hiroshi (Ehara Pajama) will be making their new appearances.
On the other hand, there was no mention of Degawa (Odai Ryohei), the head of the advertising department at Samsung Department Store, or Sera (Kihara Katsutoshi), who devotedly supported Tetsuko (Toda Keiko) as an administrative assistant but became independent the previous week, nor was there any mention of "Yam-san,"or Sokichi Yamura(Sadao Abe), who was also known as "Yam-san."
On social media, people are leaving comments such as, "Rokuhara Eisuke (Todo Hinata) is finally making his appearance! I'm looking forward to it," "Meiko's kids are all grown up. Ai's little sister is called Hana," "Taku-chan has gone from being a student to being a composer," and "I wonder if the three original manga artists are inspired by anyone."
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013), the manga artist and picture book author who created "Anpanman," and his wife, Nobu (1918-1993). It is a "story of love and courage" that will fill you with the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
