However, Michinaga (Emoto Tasuku) opposes this, and Mahiro finally reveals a secret about Kenko. As Mahiro sets off on her journey, an unexpected reunion awaits. Meanwhile, Michinaga decides to become a monk... and so the story unfolds.
Towards the end of the episode, Mahiro arrives at Dazaifu accompanied by Otomaru (Yabe Taro). As her eyes sparkle at the bustle of the city, she is startled to see the face of a familiar man among the Song people. The man is Shuming (Matsushita), whom she once met in Echizen, and the episode ends with them making eye contact. "To be continued."
