The synopsis and still images for the final 11th episode of the Fuji TV drama series " Soda Master " (Wednesdays at 10 PM), starring Takashi Sorimachi, Nao Omori, and Kenjiro Tsuda, which will air on March 25th, have been released.
Yuta Yoshii (played by Sorimachi) decides to confess to all his crimes and also reveal the corruption of Rokuro Kagami (played by Junji Takada). Hajime Fujimaki (played by Omori), Kisuke Kikuhara (played by Tsuda), and Hakuba Nishino (played by Riko Fukumoto) agree, knowing that it will have an impact on their lives.
As they were enjoying a refreshing drink of lemonade on a hill in Tanbe City, a UFO suddenly appeared, and Miyashita Michiru (played by Kiryu Mao), also known as "Matilda," descended! Matilda said, "I'll restore your erased memories," and placed her hand over Yuta and the others' heads. When they all opened their eyes, both the UFO and Matilda had vanished...
Yuta and the others regain their memories. The doubt that had been weighing on Yuta's mind—"Was Matilda's disappearance our fault?"—was deeply connected to his past with his older brother, Kento (Yuki Matsumura). It was a past he had to confront, a past he had been running away from.
Meanwhile, Yuta takes Matilda's bones and the ballpoint pen he had been keeping to the cafe where Hakuba works. Tsurumi (Noritaka Hamao) decides to investigate alone, aiming to arrest at least the perpetrator, Hideaki Tago. He asks the three to keep the bones safe for a while and leaves the shop. However, afterwards, Kisuke says something unexpected...
The original story and screenplay are by Ryota Furusawa. It's a "coming-of-age human comedy" that depicts the reunion and redemption of middle-aged men who were engrossed in making kung fu movies together during their junior high school days in 1988, but now feel stuck in life and think, "This wasn't supposed to happen."
