The sixth episode of the TV anime "Chi. -About the Movement of the Earth-," based on the manga by Uo Toyo, which was also selected as the winner of the Manga Grand Prize at the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, "Move the World," will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 11:45 pm on November 2nd.
Okuji, who has been entrusted with the "feelings" of both the Heretic and Glass, visits Badeni, a monk living in a church on the outskirts of the village. Badeni is an excellent but self-righteous monk who was expelled from the town monastery for touching on a certain ideological taboo. Badeni refuses to believe what Okuji, a lower-class citizen, says, but rather than languishing in this remote area for the rest of his life, he heads deep into the mountains. Badeni, who touches the contents of the stone box, is so shocked that he takes an unexpected action.
The series was serialized in "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" (Shogakukan) from 2020 to 2022. Set in 15th century Europe, the story depicts people risking their lives to study the heretical theory of heliocentrism. The anime will be produced by Madhouse, the studio behind "Summer Wars."
