"THE CONTE", a variety show where Japan's leading comedy duos gather to perform their "most confident skits", will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" (Saturday 9pm) on November 2nd. This is the fifth installment, and past champions of "King of Conte" (TBS) and popular comedy masters will participate. The MCs will be the comedy trio "Tokyo03" and the comedy duo "Kamaitachi".
The past champions of "King of Conte" who will appear are "Baikingu" (2012 champions), "Kamometaru" (2013 champions), "Hanako" (2018 champions), "JaruJaru" (2020 champions), and "Kuuki Kaidan" (2021 champions), for a total of seven groups, including the two MCs.
Additionally, other acts to appear include "Ungirls," "Saraba Seishun no Hikari," "The Mammy," "Chocolate Planet," "Danso Buranko," and "New York," as well as "Yadan," a finalist in "King of Conte 2024," who will be making their first appearance, and the unique unit "Dow 90000."
The program will once again feature its "famous" features of in-depth talks on the skits and audio commentary. After the comedians have finished their skits, MCs Tokyo03 and Kamaitachi will have an in-depth talk about the settings and behind-the-scenes stories. In the audio commentary, the comedians who actually performed the skits will explain their skits immediately after they finish on stage.
