The fifth episode of "Mobile Fighter G Gundam Gaiden: Eiyuu Hensei", the second part of the new spin-off of the popular anime "Gundam" series "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", has been released. Following on from the first part, this spin-off written by General Director Yasuhiro Imagawa reveals the story of Schwarz Bruder, a Neo-German Gundam fighter not depicted in the anime.
The true past of Schwarz Bruder is finally revealed. In Arashiyama, Kyoto, a large number of mobile fighters that had decayed in two fierce battles are revived by Devil Gundam cells. Domon's Shining Gundam and Rain's prototype Rising Gundam face a further crisis as they face off against the onslaught of the DG Gundam army. The sixth and final episode is scheduled to be released on November 8th.
The story of "Mobile Fighter G Gundam" is that fighters representing each country use Gundams to compete in the Gundam Fight, a martial arts tournament. Broadcast from 1994 to 1995, it was set in a world unrelated to the previous Gundam series and gained popularity as a unique fighting anime.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Mobile Fighter G Gundam, the first part of a new spin-off, Mobile Fighter G Gundam Gaiden: Tenchi Tenkaku, was released on the official website, generating a lot of buzz.
