A press conference was held in Tokyo on October 18th to announce the production of the TV Asahi drama series "Minna no Ouji R Inspired by Ikeido Jun" (Tuesdays at 9pm, starting October 22nd), attended by the main cast including lead actor Endo Kenichi and Ano-san. In reference to the series in which the protagonist, Prime Minister Muto Taizan (Endo), randomly switches places with a citizen, Endo was asked "Who would you like to switch places with among the cast?" to which he replied "Ano-chan."

When Endo explained his reasoning by saying, "He has interesting ideas and I never get bored talking to him! I'd like to get a glimpse into what's going on inside his head," Ano replied, "I think it's probably the same. Enken-san is like me." "Even though his face looks like a crocodile from any angle, I think his way of speaking and his way of thinking are very similar to mine. I guess he doesn't talk much at home..." Endo burst out laughing and fell over.

Anno also said, "This is just my imagination, but I think they probably don't talk much within their families, so I feel they're similar (laughs)," to which Endo replied, "At home I listen to what my wife says (laughs)."

The drama is a sequel to "Minoou," which aired on TV Asahi in July 2015. The previous series, which was adapted from the novel of the same name by Ikeido Jun, became a hot topic for its cynical, sometimes heartwarming portrayal of the unprecedented incident in which the minds and bodies of Prime Minister Muto Taizan and his foolish son (played by Suda Masaki) are swapped. In the new work, inspired by Ikeido's novel, Taizan is once again approached by the Prime Minister and randomly swaps bodies with a citizen in each episode, making it an even more fantastical story.

Also attending the press conference were Ohashi Kazuya, Yamatoki Satoshi, Yamauchi Keiya, and Kaneda Akio.
