Ahead of the broadcast of the popular drama "AIBOU season 23" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9pm) on October 16th, a "AIBOU season 23 special live broadcast" was held on YouTube on the night of the 13th. Mizutani Yutaka, who plays Sugishita Ukyo, Terawaki Yasufumi, who plays Kameyama Kaoru, and the first episode's main guest Kato Seishirō had fun playing games and quizzes, and also shared behind-the-scenes stories.
In response to the question "What side dish on location lunches gets Mizutani excited?" Kato answered "salmon" and Terawaki answered "shumai". Mizutani's answer was "salmon," which was correct for Kato, but Mizutani was surprised, saying, "I also like shumai. I was thinking about which one to choose, so I was surprised (laughs)."
Terawaki said, "I was thinking of writing 'black beans' (if it wasn't classified as a location lunch). There are always fewer black beans in the 'Kotemari' (scenes). Please watch, everyone. There are fewer with each cut," revealing the behind-the-scenes of the scene at Kotemari, a small restaurant that serves as a resting place for the Special Missions Unit.
The stream also included a segment in which the three answered questions submitted by Aibō fans. An archive of the stream is currently available on TV Asahi's official YouTube channel. It will also be streamed for free on TELASA at a later date.
