It has been announced that a plastic model of Dragnar 1, which appears in the robot anime series "Armored War Dragonar" broadcast in 1987-88, will be released in August 2025 as "PLAMAX 1/72 XD-01 Dragnar 1" from Max Factory's "PLAMAX" series. It will be a three-dimensional model of the "Ohbari-arranged version of Dragnar" drawn by Masami Ohbari, who is also known as a master of robot anime. The price is 9,800 yen.
The announcement was made at the "62nd All Japan Model Hobby Show," a model exhibition that opened on October 11 at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo). The "MAX Alloy Dragnar 1," which was released in January 2010, is also on display.
The "62nd All Japan Model Hobby Show" is open to related parties on October 11, and open to the public on the 12th and 13th. Tickets are 1,200 yen on the day and 1,000 yen in advance. Free for junior high school students and younger.
