The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 am and others) will enter its 14th week, "Where is happiness?", on June 30th. A new character will appear as "the people that the heroine Nobu (Imada) meets at the Kochi Shimpo newspaper". Who is Tokairin Akira, played by Kenjiro Tsuda?
Akira Tokai is the editor-in-chief of the Kochi Shinpo newspaper. He meets Nobu at a black market after the war and encourages him to take the recruitment exam for the newspaper.
In the 14th week, Nobu, who joined the Kochi Shimpo newspaper as its first female reporter since the war, is overwhelmed when she is sent to the scene to report on her first day.
From the next day, he writes an article about his findings at the black market, but Tokairin rejects it many times, but finally, his first article is selected for the morning edition. Meanwhile, Nobu becomes an editor for the evening edition... Meanwhile, Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) and Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) sell scrap goods.
One day, Taka finds an American magazine amongst the junk and is excited by the cutting edge designs he sees...and so the story unfolds.
