" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the 66th episode, Nobu (Imada) joins the Kochi Shimpo as the first female reporter after the war. She immediately goes to the scene and desperately takes shorthand notes behind the reporters in the social affairs department, but is overwhelmed from the very first day. The next day, she goes to the black market alone and writes an article about an orphan she interviewed, but it is rejected by Tokairin (Kenjiro Tsuda). Still, she rewrites it many times, and her first article is decided to be published in the morning edition.
