The drama series "Munou no Taka" starring model and actress Nanao will begin airing on TV Asahi's "Friday Night Drama" slot (Fridays at 11:15 p.m., excluding some regions) on October 11th. The live-action version of the manga of the same name by Hanzaki Asami (published by Kodansha) is a "super laid-back work comedy" that depicts the refreshing lifestyle of Takano Tsumeko, a shockingly incompetent new employee who looks super competent but can't even copy or start up a computer.

Takano, played by Nanao, is a sales employee who exudes an aura of "capability" that is hard to believe for someone in her first year at the company. However, she is actually incompetent, and when she thinks about something difficult, she gets a headache, and she doesn't even know what she doesn't understand. All the patient guidance given to her by her kind senior ends up going down the drain, but she doesn't see anything wrong with her situation and lives her life as a proud "in-house NEET." However, when it comes to negotiating with clients, he seems competent, and thanks to that, he gains the trust of his clients and creates an unexpected miracle.

The main cast includes Shiono Akihisa, who is well-known for his role as Emperor Ichijo in the NHK Taiga drama "Hikaru Kimi e" (General). Other cast members include Iura Arata, Kudo Asuka, Sato Honami, Takahashi Katsumi, and Doi Shiori. The series is produced by TV Asahi producer Kijima Sari, known for the "Ossan's Love" series and "Hoshifuru Yoru ni," and the script is written by Nemoto Nonji, who has worked on numerous live-action adaptations such as "Hakozume: Tatakai! Koban Joshi" (Nippon TV), "Shojiki Real Estate" (NHK General), and "Paripi Koumei" (Fuji TV).

The synopsis of the first episode is as follows: Hiwada Michito (played by Shiono), who was unsuccessful in his job search at a major company, meets Takano at an interview for IT consulting company "TALON". With his smart demeanor, beautiful voice like a public broadcasting announcer, and relaxed smile... Takano exudes an overwhelming "capable aura", and at first glance, Hiwada intuitionally knows he is a "capable person".

The following year, Hiwada successfully joins TALON and is assigned to the same sales department as Takano, who he had admired at the interview, but there he finds out that Takano is completely incompetent and can barely staple a document. As the saying goes, "a competent hawk hides his claws", and his colleagues suspect that he has hidden abilities, but the expectations of Hiwada are betrayed time and time again...

Meanwhile, Hiwada is intimidated by the judgement-seeking gazes he receives from people he meets for the first time, and he continues to go days without securing any contracts. While he was worrying that he was not suited to a sales job because he made the worst first impression, he witnessed his manager, Suzaku Mataichiro (Takahashi Katsumi), secretly discussing how to fire the extremely incompetent Takano. Feeling that this was no different from someone else's problem, Hibari appointed Takano as his sales partner.
