It has been announced that a new event called "The World of Ghibli Park" will be held for six days only, from November 2nd to 4th and 15th to 17th at Ghibli Park (Nagakute City, Aichi Prefecture), a theme park that expresses the worldview of Studio Ghibli works. Along with the enigmatic copy "No one knows this world yet," concept art was released depicting a girl looking up at the Earth Shop from "Whisper of the Heart" and straining her ears. A concept movie was also released on YouTube, showing the Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park and the girl straining her ears.
The new event will be held two years after the opening of Ghibli Park. It will be "a world of Studio Ghibli that no one has experienced before."
Ghibli Park is a park facility in the Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park) that expresses the worldview of Studio Ghibli works. There are five areas: "Ghibli's Big Warehouse," "Dondoko Forest," "Hill of Youth," "Village of Mononoke," and "Valley of the Witches."
