Nao will star in the Tuesday drama "Ano Kuzu wo Hitte Yattarinda" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm) which will air on October 8th. Nao plays Sato Hokomi, whose boyfriend runs away on their wedding day. When she meets a mysterious blonde man named Kuzuya Kairi at the lowest point in her life, she starts boxing to change herself. This romantic comedy is about a man named Tamamori Yuta from the popular group Kis-My-Ft2 who plays Kairi.
The drama has a completely original story. Watabe Atsuro plays Hanegi Narumi, the president of the boxing gym that Hokomi attends, Okazaki Sae plays the president's daughter Hanegi Yui, Koseki Yuta plays Ooba Souto, an elite civil servant who works at the same city hall as Hokomi, and Saito Yuki plays Hokomi's mother Sato Akemi.
Episode 1: On the day of her wedding, which should have been a very happy one, Sato Hokomi is abandoned by her groom, Terayama Mamoru (Miyazaki Akito). She then finds out that he has been cheating on her and is furious. She attacks him, but her fist goes flying and she falls over... Photographer Kairi is there to witness Hokomi's terrible ordeal.
The lease on the apartment she shared with Mamoru is also cancelled, and Hokomi moves into her parents' home, where her mother Akemi, her sister Sayami (Narumi Yui) and Sayami's daughter Mimi (Isomura Ameri-chan) live.
Rumors of what happened at the wedding spread, and she is treated like a sore thumb at the city hall where she works. She is forced to pay for the venue, which she had cancelled on the day, and is at a loss. Just then, Kairi appears before Hokomi and says, "I might be able to help you."
One day, frustrated at not being able to hit Mamoru, Hokomi happens to be passing by Hanegi Boxing Gym and stops in front of it. The gym's president, Hanegi Narumi, calls out to her...
