Actor Yoshitaka Yuriko stars in the NHK Taiga drama "To You, Shining" (General TV, Sundays at 8pm and others). The subtitle of the 38th episode, which will air on October 6th, is "Dazzling Darkness," and the synopsis and scene cuts have been released.

"To You, Shining" is the 63rd Taiga drama. Set in the aristocratic society of the mid-Heian period, the protagonist is Murasaki Shikibu (Mahiro), who later wrote "The Tale of Genji," said to be the world's oldest novel written by a woman. The script was written by Oishi Shizuka, who is writing a Taiga drama for the second time since "Koumyou ga Tsuji" in 2006, and depicts the glittering world of Heian aristocrats and the life of a woman who lived, wrote, and loved with all her heart.

In episode 38, Kikyou (First Summer Uika) visits Mahiro (Yoshitaka) and confesses her feelings about Mahiro's story, which has stole Emperor Ichijo's (Shiono Akihisa) attention from "The Pillow Book," which contains memories of the late Empress Sadashi.

Mahiro then begins to plan the next chapter of the story, but receives a new proposal from Michinaga (Emoto Tasuku)... Meanwhile, evidence of a curse on Empress Shoshi (Migami Ai) and the prince is found, and Ise's (Miura Shohei) involvement is revealed.

The Emperor consults with Michinaga and considers what to do, but...
