The popular manga "Jujutsu Kaisen" by Akutami Gege, which is also popular as an anime, reached its final chapter in the 44th issue of the magazine "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) released on September 30th, bringing the curtain down on its approximately six and a half year serialization. It was also announced that the total number of copies of the series, including the digital version of the comics, has exceeded 100 million, bringing the series to a fitting end. The latest 28th volume of the comics was released on October 4th, and the 29th and final 30th volumes will be released simultaneously on December 25th.

The final chapter is 21 pages long and was featured in the center color of the issue. As an enclosed supplement, it comes with a "Jujutsu Kaisen" serialization completion commemorative postcard!! Final episode memorial postcard" with a newly drawn illustration of the main character, Itadori Yuji, by Akutami and a handwritten message. A "Final episode full digital manuscript print mini" service will also be provided to all applicants.

To commemorate the end of the series, the 46th issue of the magazine, which will be released on October 15th, will be offering a special gift to all applicants, with 31 clear cards using the cover illustrations of the comics, "All Characters from Volumes 0 to 30 of the Comics Holo Clear Cards!!". To commemorate the release of the latest 28th volume of the comics, a flake sticker sheet featuring original illustrations of the top three characters from the 4th character popularity poll (Gojo Satoru, Itadori Yuji, and Fushiguro Megumi) will be distributed at some bookstores.

Following the end of the series, director Goshozono Shota, who worked on the second season of the TV anime, has contributed an illustration and comment.

"Jujutsu Kaisen" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in March 2018. The story is about high school student Itadori Yuji throwing himself into a world of battles over curses after the seal of a powerful "cursed object" is broken.

The anime has also gained popularity, with the first season airing from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version of "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie," a prequel to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2023. There is also buzz about the production of a sequel to the second season, "Shimetsu Kaiyu." A compilation of the second season's "Kaitama/Tamaori" is being produced and will be released in theaters in 2025.
