Additional cast members for the second season of the TV anime "Isura," based on the popular light novel from Dengeki Shinbungei (KADOKAWA), have been announced, including Toyama Nao, Ono Daisuke, Murase Ayumu, Kujira, and Ogata Megumi. Toyama will play the Blood Demon Kuroyou Linaris, Ono will play the legendary being who steals magic swords from their owners, the Horrifying Troa, Murase will play the invincible machine demon Mestel Exil of the Box of Knowledge, Kujira will play the legendary machine demon creator, Axis Kiyazuna, and Ogata will play the gray-haired child, Paradox Hiroto.
Higashiyama, who plays Kokuyo Linaris, commented, "I can understand how people are captivated by Linaris' beautiful and mysterious charm. She is beautiful even in the cruellest scenes... What kind of presence will Linaris have among the strong characters of Isura? It's tempting to look away from her as she does incredible things without changing her expression, but I hope you will keep your eyes on her and watch how the story unfolds!"
Ono, who plays Horrifying Troa, said, "It's a world where every character has a nickname. Extremely strong personalities. Limited screen time. I put everything I had into this role and fought with all my might. If you can, please watch Horrifying Troa." Murase, who plays Mestel Exile in The Box of Knowledge, said, "When I received the script and checked it, I was overwhelmed by the kanji I didn't know how to read and the words that were difficult to understand (laughs). At the same time, the middle schooler in me got excited and wanted to chant this spell as soon as possible! I will take on strong opponents together with the strongest mama Kujira-san.
