On September 23rd, it was revealed that actress Toko Miura was in charge of the title call in the preview video for Fuji TV's "Monday 9" drama "The Beginning of the Sea" (Mondays 9pm), starring Meguro Ren of the popular group "Snow Man". The drama will have its final episode on the same day, but at the end, a big secret was revealed.

Miura read the title call without revealing his name, and producer Ken Murase commented, "When I was making this drama, I was thinking about what kind of voice would fit the world view of this work, and Miura's voice was the first that came to my mind. I intuitively thought that if I was to express the world of this drama with a voice, it would be Miura's voice."

◇Synopsis of the final episode

Natsu (Meguro Ren) wakes up on a futon laid out on the floor, not in bed. Umi's school bag and stuffed animals come into view, but Umi (Izumiya Sena) is nowhere to be seen. She calls out to Umi-chan but there is no response and the room is silent.

Meanwhile, Umi has woken up at the Nagumo house and comes into the living room still in her sleep and calls out to Natsu-kun, but only Akane (Otake Shinobu) and Shohei (Toshiki Tsuyoshi) are there, and Natsu is nowhere to be seen. Akane says to Umi, "I told you I wouldn't go home on my own," and Umi has no words to reply.

As Umi lies there in her pajamas, Akane and Shohei say, "Let's have breakfast," but Umi turns away, saying, "I don't want to eat." Akane makes rice balls in the kitchen and offers them to Umi, saying, "You have to eat. You have to live." She then tells him about eating rice balls on the day Mizuki (Furukawa Kotone) died.

Soon, Natsu receives a call from Yayoi (Arimura Kasumi) on her smartphone. When Natsu answers the phone, Yayoi tells her that she has a message for her from Umi...
