To commemorate the broadcast of the 12th and final episode of the TV anime "Shikanokokonokokoshitantan," based on the manga by Oshio Shio, currently being serialized on Kodansha's web manga service "Magazine Pocket (Magapoke)," on ABEMA on September 18th, the full version of the music video (MV) for the opening theme "Shikairo Days" was released on YouTube. It has a "chaotic" finish using footage from the anime.
A special visual of a collaboration between Nokotan and Sento-kun, the mascot character of Nara Prefecture, who appeared in the final episode, was also released. The copy reads "Nara Prefecture mascot character VS Hino's human beast that appeared out of nowhere," making the visual reminiscent of an epic battle. Sento-kun commented, "Hello. I'm Sento-kun, the mascot character of Nara Prefecture! I have some great news for everyone! I'm actually going to be appearing in the final episode of the anime!! I'm so happy to be on TV with Nokotan and the Shika Club! Everyone, look forward to it!"
To commemorate the release of the final episode, an original illustration by the original author, Oshio Shio, was also released.
The series is a "new-concept beautiful girl comedy manga" about high school girls, Koshitan, who attend Hinominami High School in Tokyo, and Nokotan, a girl with a horn, as well as the members of the Deer Club. The anime is directed by Ota Masahiko, who has worked on Minami-ke and Yuru Yuri, and produced by WIT STUDIO, who also worked on SPY×FAMILY and Attack on Titan.
Since July, it has been airing on TOKYO MX and other stations every Sunday at 11:30 pm. Prior to the TV broadcast, the final episode was streamed on ABEMA on September 18th.
