On September 6th, TV Asahi held a program lineup briefing for October at its headquarters (Minato Ward, Tokyo) and announced the end of the late-night variety show "Onegai! Ranking." The show commented, "We are grateful to the cast and staff who have been involved in creating so many hit projects."

The show began in October 2009 as a ranking variety show that answered the wish, "If only there was a ranking like this..." It has released original rankings in a variety of genres, such as food, travel, idols, and hit products, and has created popular segments such as "Gourmet Academy" and "A Little Extra Cooking."

Currently, under the title "Onegai! Ranking presents," shows such as "Buzzman TV" (Wednesday) and "Azatokute Nani ga Warui no?" (Thursday) are aired in the 12:45 a.m. slot Monday through Thursday. Starting in October, "Buzzman TV" will move to Friday.
