The main visual and promotional video for the new "The Quintessential Quintuplets*" anime series, based on the popular romantic comedy manga by Haruba Negi, have been released. The main visual, set against the backdrop of the Hawaiian sky and sea, gives a sense of the quintuplets' unchanging relationship even as they grow up, while the promotional video shows the quintuplets and Uesugi Fuutarou enjoying a trip to Hawaii, as well as the quintuplets' growth as adults.

The Quintessential Quintuplets depicts the story of Uesugi Fuutarou, a high school student living a poor life, who becomes a tutor to quintuplets with unique personalities who are on the verge of failing, and his struggle to lead them to graduation. The series was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha) from August 2017 to February 2020. The comic series has sold over 20 million copies in total.

The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2019, and the second season, "The Quintessential Quintuplets∫∫," aired from January to March 2021. The animated film "The Quintessential Quintuplets" was released in May 2022 and was a hit, grossing approximately 2.24 billion yen and attracting approximately 1.7 million viewers. "The Quintessential Quintuplets∽", a film adaptation of an original episode not previously depicted in the anime series, was released in theaters in July 2023.

The new anime "The Quintessential Quintuplets*" will be screened in theaters for three weeks only from September 20th, ahead of its TV broadcast.
