On September 5th, TBS held a briefing on the October reorganization at its headquarters (Minato-ku, Tokyo). The theme of the reorganization was the new indicator "LTV4-59," which refers to the individual viewer ratings for people aged 4 to 59, and the company aimed to make TBS loved by a wider range of age groups. Keita Mishima, head of content strategy, explained, "We've had more and more people outside the company say, 'TBS is doing well,' and we're very grateful that this image is spreading. The reorganization is to further promote that." Mishima cited the currently-showing movie "The Last Mile" (directed by Ayuko Tsukahara) as an example, commenting, "It was originally a movie that was connected to the world lines of 'Unnatural' in 2018 and 'MIU404' in 2020. It's been six years since 2018, and it's still loved, and it's still ranked high on the distribution platform." The company plans to strengthen such "content that will be loved for a longer period of time" and "content that will be loved by more people." The Monday 9pm show will replace "Johnson", which began airing last October, with "THE MC3", a variety show hosted by Nakai Masahiro, Higashino Koji and Hiromi, which brings out new sides to popular guests and delves deeper into them.

Regarding the end of "Johnson", Hatakeyama Wataru, head of planning and production, said, "We brought together popular comedians and the production staff tried various formats through trial and error, but we were unable to achieve the results we had hoped for, so we decided to end it." He added, "In the future, we hope to take advantage of this connection and take on other positive challenges, including the production staff, who are mainly young."

It has also been decided that the regular broadcast of the quiz show "Todaiou" (Wednesdays at 7pm), which has been airing since April 2017, will end. Starting in October, "Sekai Kurabete Mitara," which had previously been scheduled at 8pm on Wednesdays, will move to 7pm and will be replaced by the variety show "Hiroto no Uwasa Daikensaku! Sore tte Jitsutte Dounano Kai," hosted by Namase Katsuhisa.

Hatakeyama said of the end of "Toudaiou," "For a long time, (MC) Hiromi and Yamazato (Ryota) have looked after Tokyo University students with a warm eye and helped to develop them into stars, and we recognize this as a show that has produced many talented people. Our challenge going forward is not just to end the show, but to find ways to make use of this aspect in the future and turn it into a positive."

The rescheduling rates were 6.06% for all day, 19.05% for prime time (7pm-10pm), and 21.07% for prime time (7pm-11pm).
