Actor Nagasawa Masami appeared with director Mitani and her co-stars at the completion report meeting for her starring movie "Let's Talk About Suomi" (directed by Mitani Koki, scheduled for release on September 13th) held in Tokyo on August 29th. This is Nagasawa's first appearance in a Mitani film, and she reflected on her role as Suomi, the multifaceted wife of a wealthy man who suddenly disappears, saying, "I wondered how I should create this character, and every day I got hints from the director while I was acting," and also revealed how Mitani "criticized" her.

Nagasawa recalled with a smile, "This time, we had a rehearsal before filming. I acted it myself then, and Mitani told me, 'That's not right,'" While Mitani corrected himself by saying, "I don't think that's what I meant (laughs)," Nagasawa continued, "I said, 'That's not it.' And then I thought, 'Oh, it's not. What's different?' And I worked on the character." He happily revealed the process of creating Suomi.

Matsuzaka Tori, who is appearing in Mitani's film for the first time, also attended the completion report meeting. Mitani said about Matsuzaka, "I've wanted to work with Matsuzaka for a long time." He continued, "Many actors in their 30s act in a straightforward way, but Matsuzaka also gives off the feeling that, 'There's something about this guy that makes you think, 'I wonder if he's up to something.' Even when watching a commercial, I think, 'I wonder if this guy is really up to something.'" Matsuzaka denied it with a laugh, saying, "That's not true!", making everyone around laugh.

The film is director Mitani's latest work, a mystery comedy about the "true identity" of Suomi, the wife of a wealthy man played by Nagasawa, who suddenly disappears. Upon learning of Suomi's disappearance, the five men who loved her gather at her husband's mansion. They include the hot-blooded gardener Uoyama (Endo Kenichi), the shady YouTuber Tokachi (Matsuzaka), the passionate police officer Ugajin (Kobayashi Takashi), the neurotic detective Kusano (Nishijima Hidetoshi), and her current husband, the selfish artist Samukawa (Bando Yajuro). Each of them talks about Suomi as a completely different person, both in appearance and personality...

The completion report meeting was also attended by Nishijima, Seto Koji, Endo, Kobayashi, Yajuro, Tozuka Junki, and Miyazawa Emma.
