On November 17th, actress Mikako Tabe attended a press conference to announce the completion of the drama series "Shadow Work" (WOWOW, broadcast and streaming starts at 10pm on the 23rd), in which she plays the lead role. She revealed her own rules.
The drama is based on the novel of the same name by Edogawa Rampo Prize-winning author Hiromi Sano, and is a mystery that depicts the "ultimate sisterhood" that wives suffering from domestic violence find in the depths of despair in order to survive. The story unfolds from two seemingly unrelated perspectives: "women regaining their lives in a house in Enoshima" and "a detective investigating the suspicious death of a woman discovered in Tateyama."
Yuki Sakurai, Takumi Kawanishi from the boy band JO1, Hikari Ishida, and Shinobu Terajima also attended the briefing session.
