The premiere screening of the film "After the Quake" (directed by Go Inoue, scheduled for release on October 3rd) with a stage greeting was held in Tokyo on September Getsuku, with appearances by Masaki Okada, Yui Narumi, Watanabe Daichi, Koichi Sato, and director Inoue.
"After the Quake" is the film version of the drama "After the Earthquake" that aired on NHK in April. The film is based on Haruki Murakami's short story collection "All God's Children Can Dance" (Shincho Bunko), published in 2000. The film is based on four stories from the book, with some changes to the time period, and is a new story spanning 30 years from 1995 to 2025.
