The latest installment in the Spider-Man series, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" (directed by Destin Daniel Cretton), starring British actor Tom Holland, will be released simultaneously in Japan and the US on July 31st. The latest trailer for the film was released worldwide on June 18th. It depicts the motives of an "invisible enemy" who knows Peter's forgotten past, the awakening of a great power, and the first battle scene with the strongest Avenger, the Hulk, is also revealed.
The latest installment in the series, the first in five years, is a new chapter following the trilogy starring Holland: "Spider-Man: Homecoming" (2017), "Spider-Man: Far From Home" (2019), and "Spider-Man: No Way Home" (2021).
Four years after the events of the previous film, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man (Holland), has made the ultimate sacrifice to keep his loved ones safe from danger by erasing all memories of him from people around the world. He continues to protect New York City alone as the "friendly neighborhood" Spider-Man. One day, his DNA mutates, causing physical changes that threaten his life, and inexplicable crimes begin to occur frequently in the city. The threat and trials of an "invisible enemy" loom...
◇Dr. Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk!
The trailer, which premiered worldwide in March, became a hot topic, surpassing 1 billion views in just four days. The newly released trailer begins with Spider-Man bewildered by a change occurring within himself during an intense battle with his arch-nemesis, Scorpion. When he puts on his web-shooters, spider webs begin to appear from Peter's wrists, which are being rejected... To understand what is happening, he visits Dr. Bruce Banner to seek advice on DNA mutations, but what exactly is happening to Peter's body?
Furthermore, an invisible, unknown enemy appears, possessing people from one to another. As New York falls into crisis and the city descends into chaos, the invisible enemy possesses ordinary citizens, and there are thought-provoking scenes that mention Peter's forgotten past. In addition to attacks by numerous villains, including a group clad in red and Scorpion, there are also thrilling action scenes in which Dr. Bruce Banner transforms into the Hulk and battles Spider-Man. Is the Hulk's rampage the work of the invisible enemy? What is the enemy's goal? With an unprecedented crisis looming over Spider-Man, the trailer is packed with new information befitting the start of a new chapter, including the moment when a "great power" awakens, raising expectations.
