To commemorate the release of the Blu-ray Disc (BD) and DVD of the new theatrical film " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1 - Akaza's Return," based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge Gotouge, a fair will be held at Animate stores nationwide and on Animate's online shop starting July 28th. The chibi-style illustration drawn by ufotable to be used in the fair has been revealed. It depicts Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Kanao Tsuyuri Tsuyuri, Hakuji, and Koyuki with smiles on their faces.
If you purchase or pre-order 1,100 yen worth of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" related merchandise, or purchase or pre-order one audio-visual product, you will receive a bonus item featuring a newly drawn illustration. The first phase, from July 28th to August 28th, will offer bromide prints (7 types in total), and the second phase, from August 29th to September 27th, will offer clear bookmarks (7 types in total). "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu no Yaiba" tells the story of Tanjiro Kamado, whose family is killed by demons, and who joins the Demon Slaying Corps in order to turn his sister Nezuko, who has been transformed into a demon, back into a human. The original manga was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The comics have sold over 220 million copies worldwide.
The TV anime "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc" aired from April to September 2019, and the theatrical film "Mugen Train" was released in October 2020. "Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021 to February 2022, "Swordsmith Village Arc" from April to June 2023, and "Hashira Training Arc" from May to June 2024. "Infinity Castle Arc" is a trilogy, with "Chapter 1" released on July 18, 2025.
