Actor Tasuku Emoto will appear on the talk show "Oshare Clip" (Nippon Television Network, Sundays at 10 PM) on June 7th.
His father, Akira, was known for his strict approach to acting, sometimes even directing it towards his mother, and Yu was tasked with mediating as a "middle manager." Nevertheless, he looks up to his father as "both a father and a mentor," expressing his respect for both of his parents. He also confesses that he dyed his hair and got his ears pierced in junior high school at his mother's suggestion.
He married actress Sakura Ando in 2012, but it took about three years of dating before they got married. He also revealed that during their courtship, both he and Ando stayed at each other's parents' homes for a year each.
In the program's preview video, Yu reveals his surprising life with Ando, saying, "When my wife and I have a fight, she runs off to the Emoto family's house. When I'm out for work, she sleeps between my mother and father."
