Each visual focuses on the strong emotions of the characters, such as their struggles, doubts, and resolve. The fifth visual depicts Marissa Kissinger with a melancholic expression in front of the Kissinger family mansion. The accompanying line reads, "I've always longed for a story where a prince would come to my rescue in the end..."
Marissa is the third daughter of the Kissinger family in the Marbas Empire and is said to be one of the most beautiful women in the empire. She has left home for a certain reason and becomes Carolina's lady-in-waiting. Minase, who plays Marissa, commented, "I was drawn to her presence, a quiet lady-in-waiting who has a somewhat ephemeral and mysterious beauty. She is one of the characters whose way of being and values change greatly after meeting Carolina. "The Unconscious Saintess Continues to Unconsciously Leak Her Power Today" is the story of Carolina, a duke's daughter who has been looked down upon and called a failure, whose life is turned upside down when she enters into a political marriage with Edward, the clumsy second prince of a neighboring country, and how she seizes happiness. The light novel and manga adaptation are published by Earth Star Entertainment, and the series has sold over 1.8 million copies in total.
The anime will be directed by Mitsutaka Noshitani and produced by Magic Bus and Picante Circus. Rie Takahashi will voice Carolina, Makoto Furukawa will voice Carolina's fiancé Edward, and Haruka Shiraishi will voice Carolina's sister Flora. It will air on TOKYO MX and other channels starting in July.
