Actress Akiko Wada will be making a guest appearance on Fuji TV's horse racing program "Minna no KEIBA" (Sundays at 3 PM) on May 24th. This will be her first appearance on a horse racing broadcast in 30 years.
When MC DAIGO introduced her by saying, "It's the G1 Oaks, the championship race to determine the queen of the generation. And today's guest is the 'queen' Akiko Wada," Wada responded enthusiastically, "Today, the 'strongest mare' has come. Please look forward to it."
Wada gave her Oaks prediction with the familiar peace sign from the TV show "Akko ni Omakase!". Having experience as a horse owner, Wada chose number 12 Dream Core as her top pick, based on her own song "Yume" (Dream), and added Alancar, Star Anise, and Laughter Lines as her opponents for the quinella and exacta bets, as well as a place bet on Alancar and Laughter Lines in the quinella, and Juuryoku Pierrot, ridden by Imamura Seina, a junior jockey at her agency who will be the first female jockey to challenge a G1 race.
